Jordan grew up in the Adirondack Mountains where he learned to love the outdoors. He spent his days camping, canoeing and hiking in the summers and skiing, skating, and snowshoeing in the winters. He has a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design. He enjoys going on hikes with his greyhound, Rain, and painting the landscapes he photographs.

Jordan has lived in DC since 2011 and worked as a contractor with the RiverSmart program from 2013 to 2020. He cares deeply about the outdoors and green spaces, and believes they are especially important in an urban environment. He is passionate about DC specifically and hopes to someday see people swimming in the Anacostia River.
